These are a few of my favorite things...
I'm often asked what healthy version of various products I suggest. Here are a few that I'm liking right now...
*Some of these are affiliate links so that we can use the proceeds to help missionaries and others who can't afford our services, however all these items were chosen by me and used in my home. Always open to suggestions if you find one you like or one that is better! Please send an email if you want to share.

LOVE MY NORWEX!

There are a MILLION options in this category to choose from. However, if you want a one-stop-shop where you can get it all, there's nothing like Norwex!

Their core product is their silver embedded microfiber that allows you to clean and disinfect your surfaces with just water! Then when you hang the cloth to dry the silver smothers the bacteria which allows the cloth to basically clean itself while drying! So not only does it fight against the stink, but it allows you to use one cloth longer between washes. You can purchase all your cleaning needs from them but here are a few of my favorite products:
1. The envirocloth (multiple kinds) for wiping surfaces & dusting mitt.
2. The window cloth-cleans glass, mirrors, stainless steel without leaving streaks!
3. The moping system. It's amazing and easy.
4. The washcloths and towels. You don't need soap when you use these washcloths and since they and the towels are embedded with silver as well it fights agains the mildew smell in your bathroom!
5. Their cleaning enzymes! Clean mattresses, toilets, descale showers, safely deep clean your oven!
OTHER OPTIONS

1. Homemade
In a glass spray bottle, fill it 1/2 with purified water and 1/2 with white vinegar. Then place 10 drops of Thyme essential oil and 10 drops of Tea Tree. Shake and spray! I like this spray bottle because it's glass, it's pretty, but most of all it creates a very fine mist so you can use it on furniture and not soak it. Then you could wipe if off with a wet Norwex Envirocloth.
2. Laundry, Dishes, & Hand Soap
Again, I've tried lots of things including making my own detergents & those washing sheets. If you have time to do that, go for it! We sat down and decided what we have time to make (and what works best) and what we just need to buy. Here's where we've landed for now:
a. For the dishwasher and laundry we use all things Molly suds right now. They even have an oxygen laundry brightener that's safe on whites and colors.
b. We have both foaming and liquid hand soap dispensers. I use the same thing, just in different ratios...castille soap! WAY cheaper than buying refills. And you can add essential oils if you want for aroma. Just be sure you know about the oils you're adding.

Makeup
If there is a place where I give in on my 20% non-crunchy products, this is where I give some. It's so hard to find hair products and makeup that are completely clean that actually work. Here's what I'm using right now:

1. Restore Collective makeup. This is as clean as I've found that works. It's still new to me but so far I'm loving it! They don't have a lot of products yet because they want to make sure they can make them well but it's definitely a solid choice.
2. This is where my 20% not so crunchy option comes in. If you have more "mature skin" you will probably really like the eyeliner from Prime Prometics. It glides on without having to pull the side of your eye out & it lasts all day. I've also tried their lash & brow serums and have noticed a difference. I really like the tinted brow gel wand. I reserve the full face makeup for the cleaner options from Restore Collective.
1. If you don't know about Mountain Rose Herbs you need to!
They have SO many things you're looking for from organic and naturally sourced essential oils, spices, herbs, bath & cooking oils, containers, and supplies! It's a one stop shop!
Definitely check them out!

2. Nothing against the "BIG" EO companies, but man they're expensive. This is a great alternative for quality oils with similar blends, all for a more reasonable price! Also gotta love the Amazon option!

Skin & Nail Care
I use a combo of items on my skin/face/nails. Sometimes I make my own too! I'm also including some acne-friendly options.
Our first step is to use our Norwex washcloths to wipe down/clean our faces and bodies. We do NOT use a separate soap.
As for other products...
1. Make your own! Here's how: Melt 1 cup of rendered, organic beef tallow and mix in 1/4 cup of jojoba, olive, or almond oil. I use jojoba. Optionally, add 1/2 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil and/or essential oils. Let it cool until slushy, then whip with a mixer until fluffy and store in a glass jar. You can use this on your face or body.
2. For the face: Froya Organics. I've only tried their day and night face balm & my husband uses their "mature" hair & scalp system, but we love their products and they have many more.
3. For acne: Norse Organics. It's the same company as Froya but my teenagers use their acne trio.
4. For the face and body: Beauty from Bees. This is a new company to me so I'll let you know how it goes but I'm impressed with the company and their products seem great so far!
5. For the nails: Dazzle Dry. I'll be honest, I try to go with natural nails as much as possible, but sometimes you just want to add some color! This is the only company I've found that is clean and actually works. I've had it stay on my fingers for almost 2 weeks!
6. Lastly, for the pits and teeth: Pur03! I absolutely love their deodorant and tooth powder. My teeth have never felt cleaner-and it can help remineralize your teeth and get rid of cavities! I've tried at least 8 different natural deodorants and this is the first one that hasn't caused an irritation & it lasts all day without reapplying!
Hair Care
As mentioned above, I'm more of a curly hair specialist (go figure!). But no matter your hair type, it's always best to choose the most pure products you can. If you have any non-curly hair products you like, please email!
Here are a few ideas of what we like...
1. Ecoslay. You can actually eat these products they're so clean. I actually really like these products but my curls are stubborn so I needed a little more hold, but they're definitely worth a try!
2. Curlsmith. These are less clean, but cleaner than most. I wish the scent was less but it does smell good. My kids and I all use these products. You can take the quiz to see what products are best for you. I like the frizz control products as well as the Weightless Leave in Conditioner and the In-shower Style Fixer (which is a gel that doesn't have to be used in the shower). I like their hairspray and curl refresher as well. There are even more products on their company website but this is the link to Amazon for easier ordering.
3. Froya Organics. My husband likes their "Mature Hair System". It helps with hair growth and stimulating scalp/hair follicles which can be beneficial for men or women.
